Chennai Metro was inaugurated by late CM of TN, Jayalalitha on 29th June 2015, and is massive crowd puller on Saturday and Sunday when thousands of people visits metro to enjoy the metro ride. Since it is opening phase of run, photography is accepted. Commuters are not allowed to have food inside train, and also securities make sure that, people don't cross yellow marking.
They have good acceleration and braking and cooling is also really good. Stations and coaches are world class.
Now recently Metro has connected Airport to Bus Stand and Railway station, hence patronage is increasing slowly
