Lalbagh Flower Show 2018 : A Tribute to Indian Armed Force

The 208th edition of the Lalbagh flower show begins on August 4th and is dedicated to the Indian Armed Forces. A model of the Amar Jawan Jyoti, the war memorial at India Gate in Delhi will be the highlight of the show. This flower show also commemorate the 85 years completed by the Kannada Film Industry.

CHANGING BOARDING POINT IN NEW IRCTC WEBSITE

Boarding point of already booked tickets can be done till 24 hours before the chart preparation time.Once you change the boarding point, that will be the new boarding point, and you are not allowed to enter the train from your previous boarding point. Doing so will be considered as ticket less travel, and TTE can fine you for the same.

Change boarding point in new IRCTC website is very easy.

1. Login to Your IRCTC account through which you had booked you ticket

2. Select My Account - My Transaction - Booked Ticket History

3.Select the ticket for which you need to alter the boarding point
4. You will see "Change Boarding Point" button below traveler details.

4. Click on the button, and select your desired boarding point.

Moto G5S Plus : A Phone Worth Buying

Moto G5s Plus, is higher variant of Moto G5,5th Generation in Moto G series. It was launched in Indian Market of 29th August. The phone had an amazing response in Indian Market, with both positive and negative reviews. So here, let me tell my personal review of the phone after 10 months of usage. Do comment below, if you need to know more about certain features.

1. RAM 4GB: Well calibrated RAM, and performs without lag, even if multiple applications are opened. 
2. Gaming Experience: Since i am not an active gamer, i may not be the right person to comment on this. But yes, for past 1 month, i am playing PUBG in this mobile. Performance is good, there is no lag. But yes, phone gets heated up, if the games goes continuously for more than 1 hour.
3. OS: As of today, it is still in Android N. This is the area where Lenova has cheated its users. They promised Oreo update, but that promise is still promise. There is no confirmed dates regarding, when Oreo update will be rolled out
4. Network: 4G,3G,2G, and yes, Jio is supported
5. Battery & Charging: 3000mAh battery and comes with Turbo Charger. Takes 90min to charge from 15 to 100%, with initial 65 to 70 charging in less than 30 minute.
6. Camera(Video): Pretty good camera which supports 4K recording in 30fps and Full HD in 60fps. You can see Full HD videos in my Youtube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/sajinnarayanan
7. Camera(Photo): Would give 9/10 for both front and back camera, with portrait mode giving pictures which gives better result than some of the digital camera.

With current MRP of 13K, it is worth money spend compared to its competitor. And if you have patience, you can wait for one more month. The price will come down, during Independence Day sale. And also reduce further when G6S Plus is launched.

Thirukkural Express | Paranur | Itrasi WAP-4

Thirukural Express is a Super Fast express train in India, running between Kanniyakumari, the southernmost tip of the Indian Subcontinent and Hazrat Nizamuddin in New Delhi, which is the national capital of the country.

It is currently a bi-weekly train covering a distance of 2,919 kilometres (1,814 mi), making it one of the longest-running Super Fast trains in the country. The train shares a common route and timetable with the Tamil Nadu Sampark Kranti Express from New Delhi to Madurai.

CHENNAI METRO: KOYAMBEDU BOUND METRO TRAIN ARRIVING AT KOYAMBEDU

Chennai Metro was inaugurated by late CM of TN, Jayalalitha on  29th June 2015, and is massive crowd puller on Saturday and Sunday when thousands of people visits metro to enjoy the metro ride. Since it is opening phase of run, photography is accepted. Commuters are not allowed to have food inside train, and also securities make sure that, people don't cross yellow marking.
They have good acceleration and braking and cooling is also really good. Stations and coaches are world class.
Now recently Metro has connected Airport to Bus Stand and Railway station, hence patronage is increasing slowly

Indian Railway's Second Stainless Steel Paintless Antyodaya Express

In the above Video, Indian Railway's second train to have Paintless coaches. Tambaram - Tirunelveli Antyodaya,
“The advantage of a paint-less exterior coach is that it saves the cost of paint and that of refurbishing it when it is time for a upgrade”. And the first train to get these coaches is Kochuveli-Mangalore Junction Antyodaya

Prime features of the new Antyodaya Express

1) These coaches feature a ‘corrugate side wall’ having a 2 mm thick duplex stainless steel.

2) These have paint-less finish, fleet graphic and hydrophobic anti graphic stickers.

3) The roof top is coated with solar heat resistant paint.

4) The new paint less Antyodaya Express has been envisaged for unreserved passengers.

5) There are bio-toilets inside the train and cushioned seats and luggage racks.

Southern Railway's First Antyodaya, 16191/92 Tambaram - Tirunveli Antyodaya Express, returning back from Tirunelveli. The decorations are still in tact in spite of such a long run. You can notice that, on seeing Rail Fans, the loco pilot was kind enough to blink the headlamp as kind of acknowledgment.
Antyodaya Express is fully unreserved train with LHB coaches having better seating, mobile charger in all bays and a water purifier.

Inaugural Run of Tambaram - Tirunelveli Antyodaya Express

On 8th June, 2018, Tambaram - Tirunelveli AntyodayaExpress was inaugurated from Tambaram. Flagging off the train was delayed by almost 0.5 hours, Hence the train passed Paranur almost 35 minute late. The Royapuram WAP7, did the honor of hauling the train
